Patuxent FA Comes Up Short in 2-3 Loss

Patuxent FA faced a tough challenge last night, falling 2-3 to Virginia Marauders FC in a chilly and intense home game at Liberty Sports Park in Upper Marlboro, MD.

The scoring for Patuxent was led by Khalid, who found the back of the net in the first half, with a beautifully timed assist from Eduardo. The duo was dynamic throughout the game, and their chemistry shone again when Eduardo scored the second goal, assisted by a clever pass from Abdullah.

While the loss marks the end of PFA's November campaign, the team isn’t slowing down. Their journey in the Eastern Premier Soccer League (EPSL) continues with one more fall-season matchup. On December 1st at 3 PM, they’ll take on a strong opponent away at Norfolk, aiming to close the season on a high note.

“We've seen some serious momentum out of this team, and we're pleased with how our boys have been competing this fall" stated Mandi Kuidlan, PFA President.

As the fall season wraps up, PFA is already looking ahead to the winter. The club is set to register for the MDDCVA Cup, a prestigious regional competition that will see them play 5-6 games between December and February. The Cup will provide a fantastic opportunity for the team to stay sharp, develop further, and continue building connections with fans and the soccer community.

With so much to look forward to, the energy around Patuxent FA is electric. The team is determined to keep pushing, growing, and representing the community with pride.

Stay tuned for updates as PFA heads into December action and prepares for the challenges and opportunities of the winter cup!
