Patuxent Football Athletics (PFA) is excited to announce Christa Waterman as the new Co-Head Coach for our USL W team for the 2025 season! Christa brings a wealth of experience as both a player and coach, and we’re thrilled to have her on board to help lead our team to success.

A Standout Career

Christa’s soccer journey started at Eastern Technical High School, where she captained the women’s soccer and track teams. She earned several honors, including the Varsity Coaches Award and All-County First Team recognition.

After high school, Christa played Division 1 soccer, represented her national team through the Trinidad & Tobago Football Association, and competed in the USL W League. She recently wrapped up her collegiate career at the University of Maryland, where she earned her master’s degree. Alongside her playing career, Christa has gained valuable coaching experience, including roles at Mount St. Mary’s University and Baltimore Celtic, and offers private soccer training to help players grow their skills.

Coaching at PFA

Her passion for soccer remains front and center as she prepares for the next chapter of her career—pursuing opportunities to play professionally, whether here in the U.S. or overseas. Christa’s commitment to her craft, combined with her leadership and versatility, showcases her relentless pursuit of excellence both on and off the field.

Christa’s coaching expertise and passion for the game make her a perfect fit for PFA. Her ability to connect with players and develop their potential will be a huge asset to our team. "We’re so excited to have Christa join us," said Mandi Kuidlan, PFA President. "Her leadership and experience are exactly what we need for our girls as we head into the 2025 season."

Please join us in welcoming Christa Waterman to the PFA family! We can’t wait to see her impact on the team and the community.
