Myron Garnes, PFA USL 2 Head Coach returns for a 19th season.

Patuxent Football Athletics (PFA) proudly announces the return of Coach Myron Garnes as the USL 2 Head Coach once again for the 2024 season. Since spearheading the organization back in September of 2005, Coach Garnes has been a cornerstone of the club, shaping not just a team but an enduring legacy of player development, mentorship, and success.


Coach Garnes is widely recognized for his "5 Lanes of Play" methodology, which has been a critical foundation in developing countless athletes. Under his leadership, hundreds of players have earned recruitment into Division I, II, and III colleges, with a handful—like Jayden Da and Sulahmana Bah—advancing to play professionally. His work at PFA stands as a testament to his unwavering dedication and the belief that soccer is a vehicle for both skill development and personal growth.


A Coaching Career Built on Results


With over three decades of coaching experience, Coach Garnes brings unparalleled expertise to PFA. His impressive career includes roles as Technical Director, Head Coach, and Player Development Director across numerous esteemed programs. Whether guiding teams to Maryland State Cup championships, winning prestigious tournaments like the Jefferson Cup, or qualifying for USL Super Y League Nationals, Coach Garnes’ impact has consistently raised the standard of soccer excellence.


At PFA, his leadership has become a beacon of growth. Not only have his players succeeded on the field, but they’ve also achieved milestones off the pitch, securing opportunities that have transformed their futures.
